Capping fps to 30 with AMD Software (got me past the first crash, but crashed later).īoth changes together got me through the 2nd mission, but I think the resolution change mighttt be enough on it's own. Lowering resolution to 720 (got me past the first crash). But I can also get over 100 fps in max settings, so my hardware is "fine."
I was getting hard crashes (whole PC powering down) at specific cutscene moments. I'm late, but I found a workaround for the crashes maybe. If your laptop is not cooled properly it will crash or shut down. Note to laptop users: This game will heat up your laptop, because of a high CPU usage. I wish TT would do a better job scanning your PC to establish video and audio characteristics. I hope I've captured the bulk of the problems.

It looks to me that many people have problems with this game, because this game as other Lego games is not very well optimised to run on PC's. i've an I5, an nvidia 1060 and 16G of memory. i really doubt that the probleme come from my PC performances (i can run an HTC vive without probleme). the game works perfecly at the beginning, no bug, no lag, i can play the fisrt level on xandar perfecly but when the level end (after the ending cinematic with guardian going to earth) my PC just shutdown and restard, no error or crash report anywhere. I decide to make my own post because my bug is a bit different thant all crash i've seen on this page.
